With a Coward-esque
warble and a precise and deliberate manner Benjamin Wetherill cuts
an unusual figure amongst his song-writing contemporaries, performing
a romantic blend of darkened, spidery arch-folk and pre-war-swoon
material.
From folk crowds
to indie and experimental audiences, over the past four years Benjamin
has wooed listeners and made an ineffable impression on theUK underground
music scene through a constant performance schedule and numerous,
independently released recordings. Forthcoming projects include
a split 10" with David Thomas Broughton through Birdwar Records
(UK) and plans are currently underway for a full-length album.

a faberge gem"
